Youth United is an initiative that invites affiliates to recruit youth, ages 5-25, to sponsor and build houses in their communities. Youth United targets a group of young, enthusiastic volunteers to build homes, develop leadership skills, and experience the joy of helping others. This Lego Blitz build was designed as a way for youth to raise funds to sponsor a home for a Tulsa family.
There were four categories or age groups in the competition. 8-12, 13-18, adult only and families. Legos were provided for the build and Tulsa Habitat took Lego donations before the event.
