Light Opera Oklahoma Announces Auditions
Light Opera Oklahoma (LOOK) will hold auditions for the 2006 season at the following times and places:
*Kansas City – Feb. 3, 4 to 7 p.m. at UMKC, School of Music
*Wichita – Feb 4, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.at WSU, Choral Room
*Tulsa – Feb 5, 1:30 to 4 p.m. at The University of Tulsa, Tyrrell Hall
*Oklahoma City – Feb 17, 4 – 8 p.m. at OCU, Choir Room
Audition information and audition appointments can be obtained by calling the LOOK office at 918-583-4267 or by email at frontoffice@lightoperaok.org.
Applicants are asked to bring their resume and photo and prepare two selections in English from operetta and musical theatre repertoire. Residence in Tulsa will begin on May 15, 2006.
The 2006 festival will include South Pacific, The Sorcerer and The Little Barber of Lavapies.
LOOK is a member of OPERA America and produced in association with The University of Tulsa and the Tulsa Performing Arts Center Trust.
