Longtime Educator Retires

Many people came to honor the retirement of Riverfield Country Day School ‘s founding Head of School Marty Clark on June 5.
Riverfield began with 40 students in an old Brookside post office in 1984. It now supports 120 acres and hundreds of students on West 61st Street in Tulsa. Clark says big or small, the mission never changed.
“As we grow, we intentionally stay true to the ideals that have been part of Riverfield from the beginning,” she says. “To see what’s become of our little school ‘over the river in a field’ in the last 28 years gives me a tremendous sense of pride.”
The Board of Trustees accepted Clark’s selection of Jerry Bates as her successor.
