University of Tulsa place-kicker Redford Jones was one of 30 players named to the Watch List for the 2017 Lou Groza Collegiate Place-Kicker Award. Jones is one of only a dozen of returning kickers to make at least 20 field goals at a rate of better than 80 percent, while putting together one of the nation’s top all-around seasons last year. The award is named for National Football League Hall of Fame kicker Lou “The Toe” Groza, who played 21 seasons with the Cleveland Browns.
