Mayfest Musician Application Deadline Extended
Tulsa, OK., January 19, 2010 – The Performing Arts Committee has extended the deadline for musician applications for the 38thannual Tulsa International Mayfest, scheduled for May 13-16, 2010 in downtown Tulsa. Musician applications are due Friday, January 22, 2010 and the application fee is $10.00.
Mayfest features three outdoor stages where performers have the opportunity to receive exposure and recognition from over 350,000 attendees during the four-day festival.
All performers are asked to apply online at www.sonicbids.com where bands create an electronic press kit. Sonicbids is an online system that connects musicians and promoters. Over 60,000 gigs were booked last year on Sonicbids and with over 18,000 promoters using it including SXSW Music, Lollapalooza and the Warped Tour.
