Meals On Wheels Volunteers Under Way in B.A.

Meals on Wheels of Metro Tulsa, community-funded nonprofit serving individuals across the region by providing care through nutritious meals, wellness checks, and other services, announces their Broken Arrow volunteers have returned to support hot meal delivery beginning June 23.
“This a positive step for our agency as we slowly and safely return to normal operations after responding to the challenges of the last year,” said Calvin Moore, president and CEO for Meals on Wheels of Metro Tulsa. “Our volunteers play a critical role in ensuring that we can meet our mission. We are excited to welcome them back to the Broken Arrow distribution center.”
Other clients in the Tulsa area will continue to receive once-weekly delivery of frozen meals. The agency plans to return distribution sites across the city to normal operations over the remaining months of 2021.
