Meg Wheatley to Speak on Power of Women’s Influence at Girl Scout Benefit Luncheon

TULSA, Okla. – Pioneering teacher, thinker and author, Margaret “Meg” Wheatley is bringing her inspiring perspective to Tulsa’s greatest resource in girl leadership, Girl Scouts and the Juliette Low Leadership Society (JLLS).
With years of experience and research to her credit, Meg will employ her wealth of leadership knowledge in a refreshing message to guests of the 2010 Juliette Low Leadership Society Celebration Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 28, at Southern Hills Country Club.
During her keynote speech, “The Future of the World Depends on Women,” Meg willempower women as agents of change through a message of mutual respect and trust and help to define personal, attainable goals for success.
“A leader is someone willing to help, and women are stepping forward around the world,” Meg says.
Individual reservations for the event, which supports Girl Scout scholarships and programs, are now available for $100. Sponsorships are also available and range from $250 to $25,000.
