Men’s Golf Can’t Move Up, Finishes 12th at Missouri

The Golden Eagles finished play at 910 (299-306-305) in the 15-team event. Nebraska (857) defeated Kansas State on the fourth playoff hole to win the team championship. Kansas State’s Curtis Yonke and Nebraska’s Brandon Krick (211) shared individual medalist honors.

Freshman Jake Spencer (Anthony, N.M.) led the Golden Eagles, finishing tied for 20^th at 221 (75-72-74). Bryan Boaz (Tulsa, Okla.) tied for 46^th after a 79 left him at 228 (71-78-79).

Kyle Spencer (Sapulpa, Okla.) tied for 61^st at 232 (77-79-76), and Terence Begnel (Tulsa, Okla.) finished tied for 64^th at 234 (76-82-76). Garrett Moore (Broken Arrow, Okla.) tied for 71^st at 239 (79-77-83).

Up next for the Golden Eagles is the Summit League Championships, April 26-27 in St. George, Utah. ORU is the defending champion.
