Men’s Golf Sixth at Pat Hicks Invitational
ST. GEORGE, Utah–Oral Roberts men’s golf team is tied for sixth after shooting an opening-round 296 at the Southern Utah Pat Hicks Invitational at Sunbrook Golf Course.
ORU is tied with fellow Summit League member Western Illinois in the 11-team tournament. Host Southern Utah leads the field after shooting 290. Terence Begnel (Tulsa, Okla.) is tied for 10th at 1-over par 73. Shannon Allen (Plainview, Texas) and Garrett Moore(Broken Arrow, Okla.) are tied for 18th after each shooting a 74. Kyle Spencer (Sapulpa, Okla.) shot 75 and is tied for 27th.Bryan Boaz (Tulsa, Okla.) is tied for 45th after shooting 77. Six players are tied for the individual lead at 2-under 70. The second and final round is scheduled for today. |
