Metro Christian Receives Recognition
Metro Christian Academy has received the “2008 College Readiness Award” from the Oklahoma ACT Council. The award recognizes Metro Christian as having a significant increase in its ACT Composite score over the past five years, while also increasing the number of students taking the ACT Assessment.
These accomplishments are evidence of the efforts and dedication of its staff and students. This level of preparedness has resulted in an over increase in the individual student’s level of achievement and college readiness.
Out of over 550 plus public and private schools in the state, Metro was one of only eleven schools to receive this award. The “ACT 2008 College Readiness Award” is given to a small number of schools that have made significant strides to increase their student’s level of achievement and college readiness as demonstrated by the ACT scores. Metro was the only private school to receive this award.
