Tulsa philanthropist Michael D. Case has stepped forward for the second time to donate critical funds to the University of Tulsa athletic programs. Case, the driving force behind the construction of the Michael D. Case Tennis Center, which was dedicated in 2001, has made available funds for the Case Athletic Complex, a 30,000-square-foot facility that will be located in the north end zone of Skelly Stadium at a cost of between $7–8 million. The facility, to be ready in 2006, and the first of three phases, will house coaches offices, meeting rooms and various suites, an academic support center, a ticket office, an apparel and souvenir shop, and locker, equipment, and athletic training rooms.
