Midnight at Oneok

The Tulsa Drillers game against Little Rock on Thursday, May 6 began with high anticipation as former Driller star pitcher Jeff Francis appeared in a rehabilitation start for the Colorado Rockies.
The Drillers scored two runs in the first inning, and all looked well. After five hours and 15 scoreless innings, the Drillers left with a 4-2 loss in 16 innings.
It was one of the longest games in Tulsa professional baseball history. The photo was taken at midnight with about 100 fans left in attendance in what started as a near sellout.
