Morehead Presents Webinar on “When Engagement Isn’t Enough: Retaining RNs”

Charlotte, N.C.  — Morehead, the human capital research firm, will host a webinar titled “When Engagement Isn’t Enough: Retaining RNs.” The free hour-long webinar will be broadcast on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. EST.

Morehead’s Vice President Research Services, Ph.D., David Rowlee and Sara Stokes, Ph.D., Director, Research Services will explore the differences between the key drivers of retention and engagement. Often, what entices people to stay employed is different from what creates engagement. Having engaged employees does not ensure they will stay. Learn about creating the proven connections that are needed to improve retention.

Attendees will walk away with an understanding of:

  • The stability of RN retention and how likely RNs are to leave in the near future
  • How RN stability has changed in recent years
  • Key connections RNs must have with an organization to be compelled to stay
  • The difference in how award-winning nursing environments performance in strengthening these connections
