Moton Celebrates 90 Years
MORTON GATHERING: The first Robert Russa Moton events, sponsored by Morton Comprehensive Health Services and Langston University, were held recently at the Doubletree Hotel-Downtown and at Morton’s main office, 1334 N. Lansing Ave. The events commemorated the 90th anniversary of Morton.
For nearly a century, Morton, a primary health care facility, has been providing health care services to northeastern Oklahoma. From left are Martha Vaughan, general manager, 105.3FM; Dr. David Satcher; Jim Goodwin, Esq., publisher of The Oklahoma Eagle; Tony Cellino, City of Tulsa, and Ray Pearcey, The Oklahoma Eagle. Former Surgeon General David Satcher was the guest speaker.
