New Building is Innovative, Convenient, and Beautifully Finished

JENKS, OK, Oct. 7, 2010— One of the most interesting design concepts for a building to hit Jenks in a long time was just realized when local builder, W.C. “Tiny” Tomsen finished “Trojan Place” at 410-418 East “B” Street in Jenks, OK. “The building was built with the concept in mind of allowing a person to live and work out of the same building,” said Tomsen.

Local architect, Dorian Kurin, designed the building. He said that he and Tiny had a lot of fun on this project. “It kind of took on a life of its own,” said Kurin. “We just kept adding amenities until it became what it is today. In fact, the apartment balconies were added after the building was almost complete.”

This unique structure is a mixed use building that has 5 luxury apartments on the top floor than can connect to 5 retail/office spaces on the lower floor. It was recently purchased by Benjy and Rachel Clark of B R Properties llc. “We loved the concept. As a business owner myself, I loved the idea of simply walking downstairs to my office in the morning. Commuting is for the birds,” said Benjy.

“The convenience is obvious but as a wife, I can tell you that the quality of the apartments is unbelievable,” added Rachel. “We met with a local consultant who said she has been in the industry for 12 years and has never seen apartments this nice in the Tulsa Metro Area.”

“We are having open houses Saturday, October 9th and October 16th from 12:00-3:00,” said Rachel Clark. “We thought since everyone will be out enjoying ‘Art on Main’ they might enjoy stopping by to see what Trojan Place is all about.” We will be giving away one year free home security monitoring to everyone that signs a lease in October.”

The Clark’s will begin leasing the units in October. Each unit can stand on its own and can be rented together or separately. Each apartment has rear access to its own oversized 2 car garage that has direct entry to both the apartment and the commercial space. If a tenant is only interested in one or the other the door is simply locked by the property manager and access to the commercial space is prevented.
