North Utica Avenue bridge over BNSF Railroad open to traffic between Haskell, Independence streets
TULSA, Okla. – The North Utica Avenue bridge over the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad between East Haskell Street and East Independence Street has reopened to traffic. North Utica Avenue had been closed at this location since April during construction of a replacement bridge.
Work on this bridge and another one over the Railroad on West 41st Street near Southwest Boulevard (also completed) were combined in a $1.9 million contract, funded by the 2005 General Obligation Bond Issue.
