NT Live broadcast at the Circle Cinema, “London Assurance”
TULSA, Okla. – – The non-profit Circle Cinema will present a satellite broadcast from the National Theatre in London: “London Assurance,” the sold-out hit play starring Fiona Shaw and Simon Russell Beale, directed by NT Artistic Director Nicholas Hytner.
Due to overwhelming demand in the U.K., the National has decided to add a bonus fifth NT Live event this season, “London Assurance.”
NT Live is an exciting initiative to broadcast performances of plays onto cinema screens worldwide. These theatre performances are filmed in high definition and broadcast via satellite to approximately 65 cinemas and arts centres, reaching a widespread audience live across the UK. Over 200 venues around the world also screen the productions.
