Oilers’ Combs Named Player Of Week
Tulsa Oilers center Jack Combs is the Central Hockey League’s Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday January 16th.
Although the Oilers had only two games, Combs helped them to their largest offensive output in three seasons when he had three goals and two assists in 9-3 win over the Arizona Sundogs. Combs’ hat trick was the first one for the Oilers this season. He followed that with another goal and assist in a 7-3 win over Bossier-Shreveport on Saturday. Combs now has a leading 24 goals on the season, along with 21 assists for 45 points.
The Oilers conclude a three game homestand Friday January 21st against Laredo at 7:35 p.m. The first 1,000 kids 12 and under receive a free Oilers replica jersey courtesy of AT&T and News Channel 8.
