Oilers’ Christian Makes CHL All-Star Squad

OILERS ALL-STAR: Tulsa Oilers’ Right Wing Jeff Christian is a 22 year veteran of professional hockey. He will represent Tulsa on the CHL All-Star team.

Jeff Christian will represent the Oilers as the all-stars take on the host Colorado Eagles Wednesday night. This will be Christian’s third all-star game. He has scored the game winning goal for the North team in each of his previous two all-star appearances.

The 2009 All-Star Game is scheduled for Wednesday night (Jan. 14) with a team of All-Stars taking on the host team, the Colorado Eagles. The event marks the first non-traditional (north vs. south, east vs. west, league vs. league) format in the game’s history. Face-off is scheduled for 8:15 PM ().

The Tulsa Oilers and the rest of the Central Hockey League get a break this week for the all-star game. The Oilers will return to regular season action starting a five game home stand against the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs this Friday and Mississippi RiverKings Saturday. Both of this weekend’s games start at 7:35 p.m.

The All-Star game can be seen on Altitude Sports and Entertainment (Dish Network channel 410 and DirecTV channel 681) as well as on the Network which will carry the game in most areas.
