OK Mozart International Festival Finalizing Plans for 2010 Launch Party
Following the huge success of last year’s event, OK MOZART will officially kick off its season with a Launch Party at Bartlesville Community Center on Thursday, February 25th from 5 to 8 p.m. At that time, Executive Director Shane Jewell will announce the lineup of musicians and celebrated artists for the 2010 Festival season, as well as provide highlights of other specially planned activities.
Last year’s Launch Party was a “standing-room-only” event that drew a crowd of more than 600 people who came to hear about OK MOZART’s innovative changes. This year, the OK MOZART Festival is coming back with a 2010 lineup that promises to be even more exciting.
Tickets for the Launch Party are $5 in advance or $10 at the door and will include complimentary food, beer, wine and soft drinks. Tickets to the 2010 OK MOZART Festival will be offered as door prizes. Season tickets will also be available at a special pre-season discount. In addition, back by popular demand, the Tulsa jazz band, “After Dark”, will provide live music immediately following the season announcement.
“We were amazed at the response last year, with a record number in attendance, and are preparing for a similar response from the community in 2010. Not only did we have a great response from our locals, but the regional interest was quite remarkable. We are extremely excited about this year and can’t wait to unveil our season line-up for 2010,” Shane says.
“On top of a wonderful evening of entertainment, this will also be the first opportunity for season tickets to be purchased at a highly discounted rate. Certainly an event you don’t want to miss!”
