Oklahoma State Announces Changes in Basketball Ticket Policies


STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State University Department of Athletics has announced two major changes in its policies for purchasing men’s basketball season tickets, including the addition of a Fun Zone in Gallagher-Iba Arena.

For the upcoming 2010-2011 campaign, will not be utilizing its minimum point qualifiers for premium seating. In the past, Cowboy fans had to meet a minimum point level in historic giving to be eligible to purchase seats in selected areas of Gallagher-Iba Arena. Priority points will still be utilized in assigning seats through the season ticket renewal deadline of June 30. After the renewal deadline, the process of allocating seats to new season ticket holders and current season ticket holders looking to upgrade their seats will begin.

In another change, the Fun Zone that resulted in a sellout of west end zone seats in Boone Pickens Stadium, is coming to Gallagher-Iba Arena. Fans will have the opportunity to purchase season tickets for just $375 per ticket (with a two-ticket minimum) in seven different sections of the 300 level of the arena. Those same tickets cost $575 last year, meaning the new rate reflects a decrease of $200.
