Oklahoma author and historian Bill Moore, right, visited the Tulsa Air and Space Museum (TASM) May 6 to give a “Centennial Lecture” on Oklahoma connections to the fast-paced, exciting time in the 1960s when aviation took off with the space program.

Moore works with the Oklahoma Historical Society and has more than 25 years of video production experience at the Federal Aviation Administration, Oklahoma City Community College and the Oklahoma Department of Transportation. With Moore is museum curator Kim Jones.

TASM’s “Centennial Lecture” series is being held the first Sunday of each month through Nov. 2007. TASM is located at 3624 N. 74th E. Ave., just south of Mohawk Park and the Tulsa Zoo.
