On A Whim Tulsa Hosts Shock Event
Owner of On a Whim Tulsa (3524 S. Peoria Ave) Gina Bennett, is partnering with the Tulsa Shock to hold a reception for fans of the Shock and boutique on Thursday May 10 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
On A Whim is Tulsa’s new lifestyle living store featuring fashion, tabletop and gifts. On a Whim has been in business in Oklahoma City for 14 years and just opened in Tulsa in February 2012.
On a Whim is offering five $100 gift certificates as door prizes and 20 percent storewide Shock discount. The special Shock discount will extend to May 11th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Shock will also offer two courtside tickets to a future Shock game as a door prize. Beverages and hors d’oeuvres will be served at the reception.
To honor the 40th Anniversary of Title IX, the Tulsa Shock will offer a three-game Girl Power Package that includes tickets to opening night on May 19th, Williams Women of Inspiration Night on June 23 and Breast Health Awareness Night on August 24th. A portion of the proceeds from the package will be donated back to local breast health awareness charities in the greater Tulsa area. Fans and customers who attend the reception at On a Whim will be able to receive more information about this exclusive package.
