ORU Ends Regular Season with 4-0 Win Over Western Illinois

ORU’s Lina Semenova (Minsk, Belarus) and Tayler Pippin(Sand Springs, Okla.) opened doubles play with an 8-2 victory over the Leatherneck duo of Brandao and Meinert, while Tori Dollar (Waxahachie, Texas) and Ekaterina Kondrashova (Moscow, Russia) captured the opening point with an 8-3 win at the No. 3 position.

The Golden Eagles claimed singles wins at the No. 3, No. 4 and No. 6 singles positions to wrap up the match. Pippin cruised at the No. 3 spot by a score of 6-1, 6-1, while Ana Costa (Brasilia, Brazil) posted a 6-3, 6-3 victory at the No. 4 position. Kondrashova rounded out the ORU scoring with a 6-1, 6-2 victory at the bottom spot.

The Golden Eagles will compete at the Summit League Championships held in Tulsa on April 23.
