ORU Men’s Soccer Plays SIU-Edwardsville to a Scoreless Tie

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill.-Oral Roberts and SIU-Edwardsville played 110 minutes of scoreless soccer en route to a 0-0 draw, Sunday at Korte Stadium.

ORU (2-6-2) is now winless in its last eight matches, while the Cougars fall to 5-4-1.

The Golden Eagles took nine shots (five on goal) while the Cougars took 15 shots (six on goal).

ORU goalkeeper Andrew Techanchuk posted six saves, while SIUE keeper Nick Collico made five stops.

The Golden Eagles return to action when they host IUPUI, 7 p.m., Oct. 9 at ORU Soccer Complex.
