ORU Men’s Tennis Falls to UMKC, 4-0

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Oral Roberts men’s tennis team fell to UMKC on Saturday by a score of 4-0 in Kansas City, Mo. The Golden Eagles wrapped up the season with a 4-2 mark in Summit League play.

The ORU duo of Mikhail Trukshanin and Igor Soboltadropped only their third victory of the season with an 8-2 loss to Bret Berryman and Patrick Smith, while Carlos Salazar and Matt Tansil fell to Abdul Alawadhi and Erwin Quintanilla at the No. 3 position to drop the opening point. 

Salazar, Dmitry Suslov and Tansil all dropped singles matches in straight sets as UMKC claimed the victory.

The Golden Eagles return to action at the Summit League Championships beginning on April 23 in Tulsa.
