After a loss at the No. 3 doubles position, the ORU tandem of Mikhail Trukshanin (Minsk, Belarus) and Igor Sobolta (Kiev, Ukraine) evened play with an 8-3 victory over IPFW’s Justin Collins and Francisco Sigaud at the top spot to improve to 7-2 this season. The Golden Eagle duo of Dmitry Suslov (Novgorod, Russia) and Dario Beslic (Posvsje, Bosnia) captured the doubles point at the No. 2 position with an 8-5 defeat of Felipe Gama and Luis Maselli.

Sobolta scored the first ORU win in singles play by defeating Gama at the No. 2 spot by a score of 6-1, 6-2, while Trukshanin put the Golden Eagles up 3-1 by topping Sigaud at the top spot by a score of 6-1, 6-2, to remain undefeated in Summit League play. 

Beslic closed out the match by cruising to a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Luis Sanado at the No. 4 slot. 

The Golden Eagles resume play against South Dakota State this afternoon.
