ORU Women’s Golf Standing Fourth at ORU Shootout

TULSA – Oral Roberts women’s golf team is fourth after two rounds at the 17-team Bob Hurley Auto Family ORU Shootout, Monday at Meadowbrook Country Club.

The Golden Eagles shot a combined 619 (316-303) and trail overall team leader Tulsa (602) by 17 strokes with one round remaining. Rounding out the top five teams are Sam Houston State (612), UTEP (614), ORU and SMU (621).

Tulsa’s Marita Engzelius owns the individual lead at even-par 144 (71-73). Junior Amber Hensley leads the way for ORU after a 153 (77-76) has her tied for 11th overall.

ORU freshman Alheli Moreno is tied for 15th at 154 (79-75), while junior Crystal Reeves (78-78) and sophomore Tiffany Robbins (82-74) are tied for 20th at 156.

Junior Kylie Bollenbach is tied for 38th at 161 (82-79), while individuals Eve Santillan (157) and Rachel Romack (84-78) are tied for 26th and 45th, respectively.

Teams play the third and final round with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start on Tuesday.
