ORU Women’s Tennis Stumbles at #32 Tulsa

#1 Singles competition featured Tulsa’s Alexandria Kichoutkin posting a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Iryna Khatsko.

ORU’s Lina Semenova dropped an 0-6 loss in the first set of #2 singles, but fared slightly better with a 4-6 defeat in the evening’s second set.

The Golden Eagles had their share of troubles in doubles action as well, as Tulsa’s Kichoutkin and Jo-Anne Karaitiana logged an 8-1 win over Semenova and Khatsko.

#2 doubles featured TU’s Michelle Farley and Bonny Davidson snagging an 8-0 shutout over ORU’s Kristin Gray and Rachel Scroggs.

The victory improves a tough Tulsa squad to a perfect 2-0 on the year.

ORU is back in action on Saturday, January 22, as they host Arkansas-Little Rock at 11:00 a.m.
