OU, OSU, TU Have All-Americans

OU, TU and all have produced 2010 All-Americans. Tulsa’s Damaris Johnson, OU’s Quinton Carter and Ryan Broyles, and ’s Justin Blackmon and Kendall Hunter are on various All-American lists.

Johnson, named to the Associated Press second team as an all-purpose performer, leads the nation in all-purpose yards with a 191.8-yard per game. He has 7,470 career all-purpose yards and is the record-holder for career kickoff return yards with 3,308.

Carter is an American Football Coaches Association and AP All-American. He is currently tied for the team lead in interceptions with four and ranks No. 3 on the team with a career-high 85 tackles.

Broyles is an AP, Sporting News, Football Writers of America and a Walter Camp Foundation All-American. Broyles had 118 receptions for 1,452 yards and 13 touchdowns this year.

Blackmon and Hunter have been named to the AP, and All-American Teams.

Blackmon caught 102 passes for 1,665 yards and 18 touchdowns in 11 games and also added a pair of scores with a 69-yard run and a blocked punt return.

Hunter finished the regular season with 1,516 rushing yards with 126.3 rushing yards per game. He has surpassed the 100-yard rushing mark in nine games this season and the 200-yard mark twice.
