OU Softball Announces April Promotions
NORMAN, Okla. – The University of Oklahoma marketing department has announced the softball promotions schedule for the month of April. The Sooners host Texas Tech on Thursday in a doubleheader beginning at 5 p.m. CT on OU Faculty/Staff Night. OU Faculty and staff receive a hot dog, drink, t-shirt and game ticket for just $10. The first 250 fans through the gates Thursday night receive an OU softball koozie.
Oklahoma welcomes 16th-ranked Texas for a pivotal series this weekend. Former Sooners return to Norman for alumni weekend and the team will honor the 2000 National Championship squad. Members from the 2000 team will be available for autographs following Saturday’s contest. The first 1,000 fans Saturday receive a commemorative ticket honoring the 2000 National Championship. On Sunday, 1,000 National Championship patches are available.
The Sooners close out the month on April 28 with the final game of the Bedlam series. OU pom-poms are available and fireworks follow each OU run scored, weather permitting.

Discounted group tickets are available for $4 for groups of 10-99. Groups of 100 or more are eligible for $3 tickets. Groups must be arranged at least one business day prior to the event. For more information or to purchase group tickets, please call (405) 325-2424.
Fans can also celebrate their birthday with the Sooners. Birthday packs are available for all regular-season home games for $10 per ticket (minimum purchase of 10 tickets is required). Each ticket includes a hot dog, drink and T-shirt. The birthday person also receives a special gift and in-game recognition. Birthday pack orders must be received at least three (3) business days prior to the event to insure availability of t-shirts.
