Owasso Academic All-Stater is Honored
Owasso High School teacher Shawn O’Kelley (left in the photo) congratulates Jillian Cordray, an Academic All-Stater from Owasso, during the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence Academic Awards Banquet, held recently in Tulsa.
Cordray, a 2019 graduate of Owasso High School, was among 100 outstanding seniors from Oklahoma public schools who were honored by the foundation as Academic All-Staters. She received an Academic All-State scholarship sponsored by the Oxley Foundation Fund, Tulsa Community Foundation.
The Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence is a statewide nonprofit organization that recognizes and encourages academic excellence in Oklahoma’s public schools. O’Kelley, who is band director at Owasso High School, was Cordray’s honored teacher guest at the banquet.
