Owasso Resident Celebrates Life at CTCA

Cancer Treatment Centers of America hospitals across the nation came together recently to celebrate 235 cancer survivors who have met their five-year milestone after first receiving treatment and were invited to celebrate their personal triumphs over cancer.
This year, 35 of those honorees attended the Tulsa celebration and many brought their families. The event was held in the CTCA lobby and a recognition ceremony luncheon was held at the Renaissance Hotel where survivors shared their stories and concluded with attendees dancing the “Cancer Fighters Slide,” an original song and dance created for the event.
Among the survivors and celebrants was Owasso resident Job Lorenzen, who came to Tulsa to receive treatment at CTCA. After recovering, he brought his family to Owasso where he now makes his home.
