Owasso Soccer Club Gives to Gatesway Foundation
The Owasso Soccer Club () held its annual small-sided tournament in July at the Owasso Soccer Complex, 10320 E. 116th St. N., with Gatesway Foundation as the club’s 2017 beneficiary. Gatesway is a Broken Arrow-based nonprofit that provides living and employment options for individuals with developmental disabilities.
“OSC is proud to support such a great organization that for 54 years has provided opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities,” said Owasso Soccer Club president Robert Allan.
For more than 11 years, the Owasso Soccer Club has teamed up with local charities as a way to give back to the community.
Last year, the club donated $6,000 to Owasso Community Resources along with food and various household items.
“We are so excited that the Owasso Soccer Club selected Gatesway as the beneficiary of this year’s event,” said Gatesway Interim President Gloria Morton, “We believe this will be a fantastic opportunity for the surrounding communities to learn about the organization and the vital services we provide for individuals with intellectual disabilities.”
