Owasso’s Wheels and Thrills Hosts Former Disney Executive Director John Formica
Wheels and Thrills, supported by the Owasso Chamber, hosted ex Disney executive John Formica at a recent event. Formica spoke on how to run your business with the “Disney Model” which included several tips on hiring, employee retention, customer satisfaction, and making guest experiences unique. Formica also gave away one free vacation to Disneyworld Florida to a random attendee drawn from a box. It was won by Owasso local, Ray Adcock.
Formica, known as the “Ex Disney Guy,” is a leading authority on tourism, hospitality and service industries alike, while fast becoming a highly sought after internationally known keynote speaker, business and team trainer and small business consultant. He has inspired audiences across the globe with over 3,000 keynotes and seminars to associations, business communities, health care professionals, colleges and students, showing them how to create a Disney-like culture, positive leadership, team relationships, small business growth and transforming any existing service level into a Magical customer experience.
Prior to his speaking career, Formica acquired over 25 years of experience in top management positions with service industry leaders including Walt Disney World Resorts,Hyatt Hotels, Hilton, Adam’s Mark and Sunrise Senior Living.

Kids under 56” tall can explore the massive 20’ tall soft-play, indoor playground with over 16 different activities.
