ALL-ELECTRIC: Representatives from Palmer Continuum of Care and Miles Electric Vehicles were on hand in February to announce their joint car giveaway. Miles Electric Vehicles of Tulsa is teaming with Palmer Continuum of Care to raffle a low-speed, all electric car with all proceeds benefiting the substance abuse treatment programs of Palmer.
The Miles low-speed vehicles are ideally suited for fleet use and neighborhood driving. Miles makes all-electric cars and trucks that utilize no gas and produce zero emissions while still providing for safety, comfort and quality. Their vehicles have a driving range of 40-60 miles before needing recharging.
The Palmer-Miles Electric Car Giveaway took place Feb. 19-March 19 at the Promenade Mall. The winning ticket will be announced April 12. For a $10 donation, Tulsans received a ticket. Only 2,000 tickets were available total.
