Enjoying the Tulsa-area Big Brother Big Sisters of Oklahoma Bowling for Kids’ Sake media kickoff at Sheridan Lanes recently are Little Brother Braxton Hill, LeAnne Taylor of Channel 6 and Big Brother Jason Bennett of 107-9 JazzTulsa.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma’s annual Bowl For Kids’ Sake is the largest single fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters and is among the largest such events in the country. Bowl for Kids’ Sake enables thousands of people to fulfill Big Brothers Big Sisters’ vision: “A Big Brother or Big Sister for every Oklahoma child who needs and wants one.” In 2006 over 2,400 bowlers secured pledges totaling over $320,000 from more than 15,000 sponsors.
