ATHENS, Ga. – For the third consecutive season, Oklahoma State’s Oleksandr Nedovyesov was eliminated in the round of 16 of the Individual Singles Championship, falling to USC’s No. 9-ranked Robert Farah, 6-0, 6-3, Friday at the University of Georgia’s Dan Magill Tennis Complex. Nedovyesov also fell in the doubles round of 16 as he and partner Aleksey Bessonov dropped their match against Tennessee’s Davey Sandgren and John-Patrick Smith, 6-3, 7-6(4).

To make room on the active roster, the club optioned outfielder Dexter Fowler to Colorado Springs. Herrera will be in uniform for today’s game at San Francisco (2:05 p.m. ).
