Oxley Nature Center Continues to Inspire
In 1972, Philip Nelson presented an idea to the Tulsa Parks Department to preserve a naturally interesting area for everyone to enjoy.
With that idea, the Tulsa Audubon Society became involved with the effort. A nonprofit was created in early 1975 by the name of Mohawk Nature Center Development, Inc. Funds were then raised, and a master plan was approved by the Park Board and City Commission.

Owasso Initiative Improves Neighborhoods
The Owasso Strong Neighborhood Initiative was created more than five years ago and continues to make a great impact on the community.

Union Assisting in Police Investigation
Union Public Schools is working with the Tulsa Police Department after officials received a report of an alleged attack on an 18-year-old student Wednesday. School security and administrators are assisting the police with the investigation and have increased patrols around the High School. We are very concerned about this incident and concerned about the safety of our students. We ask that parents take this opportunity to visit with their children about basic safety procedures such as walking in groups and being aware of their surroundings. MTUL to Feature Oklahoma Chief Justice
