Junior Cody Green, a transfer from Nebraska, was given the nod at quarterback over sophomore Kalen Henderson. “Probably the biggest separation between Cody and Kalen is the experience that Cody brings to the table having played in 17 games at Nebraska. He just seems to have a little more poise and control right now. There were certainly days that Kalen performed better and days that Cody played better. But for me, if it’s close, I like playing with a guy that has more experience and ultimately that’s probably why I decided that way,” says Blankenship.
Manning Adds Three to Staff
Newly appointed University of Tulsa Head Basketball Coach Danny Manning has made three appointments to his coaching staff.
Brett Ballard, the head coach at Baker University, and Missouri State Assistant Coach Steve Woodberry will serve as assistant coaches, while San Francisco Assistant Coach Justin Bauman becomes Tulsa’s director of basketball operations.

Tulsa Gymnastics Team Medals
Tulsa’s Tumbling and Trampoline (T3) competed with 13 athletes during the U.S. Elite Challenge held in Tulsa.
More than 400 gymnasts participated in the competition, which was a U.S. Olympic Qualifier for the trampoline team.
