Tulsa Zoo Management Inc.’s () Board of Directors announced Oct. 6 that Terrie Correll has been appointed as its new . manages the zoo as part of a public-private partnership with the City of Tulsa. The zoo was privatized on Jan. 1, 2011.

Tulsa Weekly Gas Update
Tulsa, October 24- Average retail gasoline prices in Tulsa have fallen 2.0 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.25/g. This compares with the national average that has fallen 1.8 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.47/g, according to gasoline price website TulsaGasPrices.com.

Downtown Tulsa’s Cam’s Grocery Breaks Ground
Cam’s Grocery, owned by Tulsan Dan Cameron, celebrated with a groundbreaking ceremony on Sept. 14 to announce the transition to the construction phase of the project. Cameron announced that he will be opening his first location in downtown by the end of winter. Cam’s is an independent natural foods grocery and café that will be located at 114 S. Detroit Ave. in the Blue Dome District.

Rolf Olsen and Zaida Kepford-Castro have combined their English and Spanish language skills to form a new business, Tulsa Translations , which provides translation (written) and interpretation (spoken) services in Oklahoma. The company is based in Tulsa.
