PASS Program to Serve 55 Elementary Schools
The Partnership for the Availability of School Supplies () program announced over 24,000 Tulsa and Union Public Schools students will receive free sets of school supplies for the 2010-2011 academic year. Each set of supplies includes crayons, glue, markers, pencils, paper, scissors and other items critical for learning. Supplies are delivered directly to school buildings over the summer and ready for students when the 2010-2011 academic year begins in the fall.

Claremore Hosts Education Programs on Illegal Trafficking and Abuse of Prescription Medications
89 law enforcement officials from police departments, sheriff’s offices and government agencies located across the Northeastern Oklahoma attended an educational seminar in Claremore on Thursday, May 20, to learn how to fight illegal trafficking and abuse of prescription medications. The seminar was co-sponsored by the Claremore Police Department and the Healthy Community Partnership with additional educational support provided by pharmaceutical company Purdue Pharma L.P.

History buffs, tourists, families and residents of San Gimignano can now experience the city’s past first-hand with the grand opening of SANGIMIGNANO 1300. This new museum features a hand-crafted reconstruction of the entire city of San Gimignano as it existed in 1300, as well as various exhibits, depictions and presentations about the city and those who lived inside and outside of its walls in medieval Tuscany.
