Tulsa Opera Performs at Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame
On Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011, at 7 p.m. the Tulsa Opera will bring the magic of opera to the stage at the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame, located at 401 S. 3rd Street in Muskogee, Oklahoma. The performance will feature Tulsa Opera’s nationally-known Studio Artists and will be narrated by Artistic Director Kostis Protopapas. The program will include a diverse sampling of music from European opera, as well as American folk and art song, musical theater and contemporary American opera. This event is free and open to the public.

Due to illness, world-renowned psychic and best-selling author Sylvia Browne will not appear New Year’s Eve at the Osage Event Center.
Guests who purchased tickets will receive a refund or a ticket transfer toward the purchase of an upcoming show at the event center. Shoppers at Canterbury Lane of the Shops of Seville at 101st and Yale Avenue were treated to a Holiday Girls Night Out on Thursday Dec. 8 with special discounts and sales throughout the shop along with a free gift. Tulsa State Fair Wins Award
Expo Square Mark Andrus and key Tulsa State Fair staff were presented with several top awards at the International Association of Fairs and Expositions conference held recently in Las Vegas, Nev. In total, the 2010 Tulsa State Fair won 17 awards in the top division of fairs with more than one million attendees.
