Greater Tulsa Reporter Newspapers has changed the name of its midtown edition to the Midtown Monitor from the original name of Tulsa Free Press, which has existed since its inception in 1995. The purpose of the name change is to better reflect the local target of the midtown edition, which is one of six papers published by GTR Newspapers.

Greater Tulsa Reporter Newspapers has added “District” to the Jenks Gazette name, resulting in the name “Jenks District Gazette.” The purpose is to reflect that the GTR Jenks District Gazette is targeted to the entire Jenks district, which includes much of South Tulsa as well as Jenks. Currently, GTR publishes 9,000 Jenks District Gazette papers among the total GTR print run of 37,500 papers.
