Women’s Auxiliary Glams Up for Christmas
The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary will be packing up their Christmas sweaters and going for the glamour at their 56th Annual Christmas Luncheon and Fashion Show. The luncheon will be held Tuesday, Dec. 8 at the Renaissance Hotel, 6808 107th E. Ave. in Tulsa. The always-elegant Miss Jackson’s will provide clothing for the show. Models are all Tulsa media celebrities, including Terry Hood from Channel 6, Carole Lambert from -News Channel 8, Michelle Lowry from -Channel 2, Chera Kimiko from Fox 23 and author and blogger Cindy Morrison, formerly from .
Lamsons Play Ball for American Lung Association
The American Lung Association’s Beaujolais Nouveau, held Nov. 20 at Southern Hills Country Club, hit record sponsorship numbers.
Co-chairs Sarah Dougherty and Sarah Stewart were pleased to have Leigh and Chuck Lamson join the all-star committee as honorary chairs for the 2009 event.
“The Lamsons have been veteran supporters of American Lung Association and the Beaujolais Nouveau event. We were thrilled to honor them. They helped us knock it out of the park,” says co-chair Sarah Stewart.
Time For Resonance
The 12th annual Ihloff Creative Team Fall Collection fashion show was a grand event. Christmas Kingdom Brightens Muskogee
The largest display of Holiday Spirit in northeastern Oklahoma can be found in Muskogee. At the Castle’s Christmas Kingdom, you can take a slow drive through a Christmas wonderland filled with thousands of lights plus more than a thousand lighted inflatable displays with many new ones for 2009. Members of the cast and crew from Little House on the Prairie: The Musical spent part of their time in Tulsa building a house for Habitat for Humanity.
