Charles and Joan Cotton established Limo in April of 1991. Limo began in the Cotton’s home where the business was operated from the kitchen table. “We have grown our business statewide with offices in Tulsa, Oklahoma City and Norman,” explains Charles.

The owners, Jeannette Eaton and Lee Beasley, took special pride when designing Bella Vita, which opened in November 2007. Their goal was to create an upscale one-stop destination where anyone who walked through the doors would instantly feel welcomed and appreciated. They have been successful in meeting that vision because, after being open for only four months, Bella Vita was voted one of the Best of the Best Spas in the Tulsa area for 2008 and repeated this honor again in 2009.
Oktoberfest Unveils Poster for 2009
The annual Oktoberfest poster was unveiled Sept. 2 at the German American Society of Tulsa building to kick off the 31st Annual Tulsa event. Local artist Karen Frontz-Meyer, a German and resident of Adair, Okla., helped to unveil her piece of original artwork. She says, “I was thrilled to be chosen as the poster artist this year. It allowed me to pull from my German heritage and really paint something personal.”
Championship Steak Cook-Off Set
The first annual Oklahoma Championship Steak Cook-Off will be held Saturday, Sept. 26, in downtown Tulsa. The benefit event is being created by the Brotherhood of St. Lawrence, a men’s fellowship group at Trinity Episcopal Church. The Oklahoma cook-off will be similar in concept to events held each year in Magnolia, Ark. (the “World Championship Steak Cook-Off”) and in Hico, Texas (the “Texas State Championship Steak Cook-Off). Each has been featured on The Food Network.
Tulsa Garden Center Presents An Evening of Wine and Roses
The Tulsa Garden Center is pleased to present Tulsa’s premiere fall celebration of wine and food event: An Evening of Wine & Roses. This annual fundraising event will be held in the Tulsa Municipal Rose Garden on Friday, Sept. 25 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
An Evening of Wine and Roses is one of the region’s largest wine tasting events. Guests will enjoy over 150 different wines from around the world complemented by sumptuous hors d’oeuvres and desserts.
