JA Announces New Program

Junior Achievement (JA) of Eastern Oklahoma has partnered with several Tulsa-area companies, including EDS, State Farm and Williams, to create a new program called “JA in a Day.” The program encourages companies’ employees to sample volunteering for JA and determine if they are interested in participating in JA’s traditional program that includes five lessons averaging 30 minutes each. Representatives from EDS, State Farm and Williams gathered at Owen Elementary on May 11 to announce their donations that will go towards funding this new program.
