Bartlesville’s Price Tower is offering several camps this summer for children.

ArKIDtecture: Math Art Camp
July 26 and Aug. 2
Math Art Camp offers classes for students ages 9-12 the opportunity to learn hands-on about how math relates to architecture, art and design. Students will plan a model city, make decisions and solve problems about design, materials and how buildings affect their community and environment. They will plan a city block, design their own buildings, including floor plans and models, landscape and designing public art. Reservations required. Time: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Cost: Free. Tulsa Ballet Duo Earns International Award

Two Tulsa Ballet dancers walked away from a major international dance competition with prizes in July.

The New York International Competition is described by Tulsa Ballet artistic director Marcello Angelini as “among the most important in the United States and well-known worldwide.” The Tulsa Ballet dancers invited were Karina Gonzales (Venezuela), who won a Silver Medal, Ricardo Graziano (Brazil), who received an Artistic Achievement Award, Kiri Chapman (USA) and Mugen Kazama (Japan).

Tulsa singer-songwriter Susan Herndon, pictured above with her band, will celebrate the release of her new album “1,000 Pies” at three separate shows in Oklahoma.
