Pig Kissing at Inverness Village

Kent McRae, executive director at Inverness Village, pauses before planting a kiss on Festis, a 135 lb. pot bellied pig at a special reception held at the Life Care retirement community. The fun was all for a good cause as more than $1,000 was raised to support Inverness Village wellness director Jana Headrick’s Oct. 31 run in the Dublin, Ireland Marathon. Proceeds raised for the run support programs and research of the Arthritis Foundation. Residents and others attending the event cast their votes for various Inverness Village staff with their donations. Headrick is halfway toward her $4,500 goal. Those interested in helping can send a tax-deductible check, payable to the Arthritis Foundation to: Jana Headrick, Inverness Village, 3800 W. 71st St., Tulsa 74132.
