Pitcher Danny Duffy reports to Royals Extended Spring Training
The Kansas City Royals have announced that left-handed pitcher Danny Duffy has reported to extended spring training in Surprise, Ariz. The Royals have begun the process of assessing where Duffy is with regard to baseball activities before making a determination on his plans for his return to baseball.
The 21-year old Duffy, the Royals’ third round selection in the 2007 Amateur Draft, announced on March 24 that he was taking a leave of absence from baseball.
